I am a reward-based dog trainer in Petts Wood, near Bromley, Kent. I believe that the most important part of training is your relationship with your dog. My classes are fun, so you and your dog both enjoy the learning process and build a strong bond. I can offer group training classes or one-to-one training classes.

 

 


Building great bonds between dogs and their owners using reward-based, fun training.

Group classes

(Nine-week course, with a two-week break mid-course.) These Saturday morning classes are for up to four dogs of any age.

 

Course contents:

Loose lead walking, recall, leave, stay, polite greetings (not jumping up), doorway manners, play, handling and much more. Skills are practiced lots of times during classes - and gradually made harder by adding duration, distance and distractions!

9am-10am class

Place:

Private area in Willett Recreation Ground, Petts Wood, Kent. (Crossway entrance to use the recreation ground car park, or Towncourt Crescent entrance as pedestrian-only route.)

First lesson of each course:

Which is either Saturday 26th April or Saturday 20th September both start at 10am.  This is a preparation lesson which everyone will attend WITHOUT dogs. I will tell you more about the course and  questions will be answered.

 

Other April 2025 class dates are:
Lessons 2 to 4 are Saturday 3rd May to Saturday 17th May
Then a two week break around schools half term, in case a catch up class is needed due to bad weather.
Lessons 5 to 9 are Saturday 7th June to Saturday 5th July.
(Saturday 12th July is reserved in case of bad weather).

 

Other September 2025 class dates are:
Lesson 2-5 are Saturday 27th September to Saturday 18th October. 

Then a two week break around schools half term, in case a catch up class is needed due to bad weather.
Lessons 6-9 are Saturday 8th November to Saturday 29th November. (Saturday 6th December is a reserved in case of bad weather).

 

Book your place in one of our group classes now! Everyone will receive a goody bag with training treats and chews at the first lesson.

 

Classes are not suitable for dogs that are very vocal or aggressive to dogs or people.  A one-to-one class would be more appropriate (see below).

 

 

One-to-one classes

 

 

These bespoke training classes are available all year round, usually on a Saturday.  Weekday classes are sometimes available.  Classes take place in your own home or garden, or at a local outside space.

 

Content:

Addressing specific behavioural issues, such as jumping up, separation anxiety, loose lead walking and lots of other things. I can also help with puppy issues, such as biting and toilet training.

 

Time: 

Issue-dependant - a one-off two/three-hour session, or weekly/fortnightly sessions, or both.
