About me

My name is Sue Ward. I am a qualified dog trainer.  I am also a qualified doggy day carer for three lovely dogs (no current spaces). I hold twice-yearly Saturday morning dog training classes that run for nine weeks, and I hold one-to-one training classes that run all year round. I am a volunteer dogwalker at Foal Farm Rescue Centre, Biggin Hill, Kent. I love helping rescue dogs - and yes, I am constantly tempted to take one home with me!  I was a Bromley school primary / dyslexia support teacher for 20 years before I decided to change my career and work with dogs.  I am really enjoying my change of career and working with dogs and their owners.

My first and only dog was a black Labrador, Jess (pictured on the home page) and she introduced me to the doggy world. Jess sadly died six years ago. She was an amazing girl who taught me so much.  I endeavour to continue that learning and regularly attend training courses on behavioural issues, mental health, physical health, and the relationship between dogs and their owners.
